Worked for Me

Find out if you can be located geographically from just your internet (IP) address. This thing is spookily accurate.

Angry Secretary

ABC News Kirit Radia reports: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost her cool Monday after a Congolese student, speaking through a translator, asked her what "Mr Clinton" thought about a Chinese trade deal with the Democratic People's Republic of the Congo.

"You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?" Clinton replied, clearly irked by the thought of being her husband Bill's spokeswoman.

Turns out it was a problem with the translation, but whew, the video at the link makes it clear: murder will be done if anyone is ever foolish enough to ask her what Bill's favorite sandwich is.

They're on to Me

IMPORTANT WARNING!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it myself a couple times unintentionally but this one is real, and it’s important. Please send this warning to everyone you care about.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!! They only want to see you naked.

I wish I’d gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid.

Freedom of Speech

(Clickabiggen)

The above violation of Norman Rockwell's Freedom of Speech was Night Writer's idea. I just did the scribbling. Call it Freedom of Speech With Karen Miracle of the East Hillsborough County Democratic Club.

Karen was the woman who pushed the face of an Obamacare opponent who was arguing with her husband. Perhaps she feels she had the right to get physical, seeing as her president said:
"But I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking."

So, um, just who is Obama talking about? Me? You? Just anyone who has a problem with his health care plan? Are we the ones who "created this mess"? No, we're users of the health care system. And many of us would like to see changes, but not necessarily the changes Obama envisions.

Maybe the Visionary in Chief isn't quite the genius some claim. Is "shut-up" his best argument? Perhaps he thinks the debate will be won by packing town-hall meetings with union thugs, who can bar the doors, then sit nodding approvingly as congresspeople read Democrat talking points. If so, he must have a pretty low opinion of the common man.
