Aghast?

I'll bet it happens more often than we hear about; a baby is born alive during an abortion attempt, then put in a plastic bag and thrown away. I won't quote beyond this:

The case has riled the anti-abortion community, which contends the clinic's actions constitute murder.

"The baby was just treated as a piece of garbage," said Tom Brejcha, president of The Thomas More Society, a law firm that is also representing Williams. "People all over the country are just aghast."

In Illinois Barack Obama fought to keep it legal to just leave the baby exposed until it died. For the life of me I can't see the difference.

In Disguise

Nimos sent me a link to a Detroit Free Press page where you could download half an Obama face, glue it to your own, then take a picture for their gallery. You know, in case you think you still don't have enough Obama in your life.

OK so I took a few dozen pictures, then realized they had a different vision. Reading the directions gets so boring though.

I'm submitting them anyway. (though I might hold back some of the nudes)

OK, so I guess I'm a rebel. Time to buy a copy of Catcher in the Rye and start wearing all black.

***Update: Obamimus Prime, which I only did because the name tickles:

No, I Won't Go

Action Figure

Hey you kids! Get off of my lawn!

No I won't provide a link. If you want the action figure, you can find it yourself.

I only post it to note that it's only been two weeks and I'm already tired of pointy fingers. Drudge has another pointy finger photo but it's from AP and I don't want to get sued.

Enough with the finger pointing.

It's Not Opinion, It's Math

I am not a shopper. I like to get in, get it, and get out. One man, one job, one, uh, transaction. So I ruffle when anything happens to hold up the check-out line. When the lady at the front of the line opens her coin purse and starts fiddling for coins, I go into Awww-for-the-love-of-Pete mode. So I would never hold up the line, myself. Almost never.

And the only time I've ever been the culprit in a line freeze was because of the same math insanity in the above video. The money didn't even matter to me. What drove me nuts was that the cashier acted like I needed math lessons. "No sir, 5 times .07 cents is 35 cents." Um, no it's not, 5 times .07 dollars is 35 cents.

So I explained it to her, and explained it to the lead cashier, and explained it to the store manager, and yes, that's nuts, but when they couldn't grasp it, I felt compelled to continue teaching. It was insane. (none of them ever understood, BTW)

So I feel for this guy. I hope, and assume, you all "get it". If you don't: stay in school.

Zoom In on the Inauguration

Bear Facts

A Woman Cyclist and An Urkel

Brazilians Out of Work

I know you've seen this everywhere already:

Not mentioned are the trillions of family members who rely on those wage earners. Plus, has anyone considered how many immigrants we'll have to get in here just to make our unemployment quota?

Setting the Bar

Daschle's departure was summarized this way by the White House press spokesman:

Robert Gibbs told reporters Tuesday, "The bar that we set is the highest that any administration in the country has ever set."

Yes, for limbo, maybe.
