I was busy with computer insanity so I didn't get a chance to comment on this Mayor Bloomberg idea regarding a path to citizenship for illegal aliens:
"We’re going to assign you a city--let’s say Detroit--you got to agree to not be arrested and not take any federal, state or city money, and you’ve got to live there for seven years, and if you survive seven years, we’ll make you and your family full citizens."

OK, so this one is easy: Why in the world would you want to send immigrants to the city with the highest unemployment rate in the US? Would it be some kind of present for the 20% already unemployed in Detroit? Better to send rain to Seattle.
And these are the guys who think they've got the big brains.
