Tuesdays are the days I like to highlight street art in America. This is a classic example of the tied-chicken genre. Tied-chicken has been called the haiku of street art. Yes there are strict rules of composition and materials, but nobody's really sure what they are and nobody much minds until the chicken starts to go bad.
This installation is clearly a protest that the US Senate hasn't passed a budget in over three years. "What," the banana asks, "is their problem?" The telephone represents the ethics of Harry Reid, in that there is no telephone.
