Alex Rieger: I'm Alex. We're friends, we work together.
"Reverend" Jim Ignatowski: What? are we, lumberjacks?
Alex Rieger: No, we're cabdrivers.
"Reverend" Jim Ignatowski: I bet we don't do much business up here!

yep. That is exactly what I did the day a foul softball came right over the fence and hit me square on top of the head.
But with my eyes tight shut, I was much less afraid while I waited for it to hit me.
I think there's a metaphor or analogy or something there.
