Michael Steele Disappoints

I have no clue why Michael Steele would want to denigrate our efforts in Afghanistan. I can't imagine how his comments benefited anyone.

When Harry Reid did it, I could understand why: he he wanted us to lose in Iraq because it would hurt Bush. What an insane way to gain political advantage: hurt the country a ton to get a few pounds for yourself. Well, good thing Bush didn't listen to Harry.

Didn't Biden call Iraq one of Obama's greatest achievements? Yup, and Obama hasn't so much as changed the punctuation on the Status of Forces Agreement for Iraq. Defeat was just wishful thinking on Reid's part.

But this:

The RNC chairman, at an RNC event, said that Afghanistan is “a war of Obama's choosing. This was not something that the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in."

Also: "[If Obama] is such a student of history, has he not understood that you know that's the one thing you don't do, is engage in a land war in Afghanistan?"
This I don't understand.
