Have you seen Boston.com's Big Picture? It's a great resource for high resolution news photos. For example, these, which show paramilitary policemen displaying their skills during an anti-terror drill themed "To Welcome Olympic Games,To Ensure the Security":

Here we see them performing "tactic to frighten
terrorists who are afraid of shadows".

And here: "tactic to isolate terrorists
who fear crossing large circles."

And finally: "tactic for terrorists who don't fear
shadows and are undeterred by large circles"

Not sure how well that last one will work in the large crowds expected for the Olympics.
