It's Hard to be Optimistic

From the WaPo, regarding the gunman jihadi who killed two US servicemen in Frankfort:

In an interview with the Associated Press in Kosovo, an uncle said that Uka was born and raised in Germany after his parents moved there from Kosovo about 40 years ago. But a German official and Kosovo's interior minister said that the alleged gunman was a Kosovo citizen from the town of Mitrovica.

Regardless, as a Kosovar, he should have been aware of how many Muslims the US saved from Milosevic. Worse, the article says the gunman just became radicalized in the last few weeks. He should have taken two weeks more and studied the US role in saving lives in Kosovo.

Ah well, another day - another jihad.
