Can whoopass be far behind?
OK, I won't quibble that a month ago was 17 days after the explosion. And that he went to the Gulf because people had started asking "where's Obama?" Also, it's not my job to point out that much more evidence is needed, most of it coming from investigators other than the President, in order to know who's ass to kick.
By the way, did anyone catch the 60 Minutes (tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick) that covered the causes of the explosion? If Mike Williams' story holds up, and I think it should, then BP looks to be at fault.
But capitalism allows for "ass kicking" of a sort. It's called corporate liability. And getting BP to take responsibility is part of the system.
Here's the first part of the 60 Minutes interview. Get to parts 2 and 3 on the youtube page:
Last question: Anyone remember when 60 Minutes was a must-see every week?
