Choice


Here's an old Ted talk:

Psychologist Barry Schwartz takes aim at a central tenet of western societies: freedom of choice. In Schwartz's estimation, choice has made us not freer but more paralyzed, not happier but more dissatisfied.



I think there's a couple of swings and misses in there. Choice doesn't equal freedom for one thing. But still, interesting.
