Vote on God

That whole mess about take God out, put God back, take Jerusalem out... It's funny, and it's to be expected. Sure I believe Obama was OK with it until he got word that subtracting God was a net vote loser. Obama just wanted to appease his base, the antisemitic atheists. And inside the Obama bubble, it seemed like a good idea.

But the most telling bit was when they corrected it. People have been playing the video because the delegates seem to be booing God and Jerusalem. But even more interesting is the voice vote.

Antonio Villaraigosa had to take the vote three times and it sounded to me like it was split 50-50. The language change needed a two-thirds majority to pass. But the word had come down to change it. What to do? Well Villaraigosa followed orders. He pretended that he heard a two-thirds majority. He demonstrated that the President was OK with cheating.

So, in one swoop they've managed to offend Christians, Jews, and atheists. And for a cherry on top, they demonstrated their willingness to ignore the rules.

Democrats were OK with ignoring the rules (the Constitution) in order to make Catholic institutions buy birth control for their employees. It's just karma that they should get bit by Obama's dishonesty as well. Or should I say: "it's just a random coincidence (in a universe that just happened to evolve matter, space, planets, living organisms, mammals, man, and Democrats) that they should get bit by Obama's dishonesty as well."

Very. Well. Put.

Worst. President. Ever.

To be precise, they've also offended Palestinians, islamists, about half of their own delegates or more, and a lot of decent democrats (there used to be some when I was growing up, there may still be) as well as showing the independents that they are a) incompetent even at the routine machinations of a convention, and b) as you say, patently willing to be undemocratic.

I loved watching Villaraigosa squirm. CA politicians are different from Chicago ones: In CA, pols like Tony Villar and Gavin Newsome don't strong-arm compliance or legislation, they just IGNORE INCONVENIENT LAWS AND EVIDENCE AND PUSH ON.

I want to put that Villaraigosa squirm on infinite loop . It never gets old.

The fact-based, scientific community. Those who stand against them are deniers and believe that cowboys used to ride dinosaurs.

The least utterance in opposition is viewed as a signal of that person's stupidity. We can't see the unicorns. We can't smell the Pixie Dust. We are not worthy.

The saddest thing? If you watched President Obama's speech at the DNC convention, he kept referring to Underpants Gnomes. "We're going to do this, and we're going to do that." Because we need more jobs, then something, and there we are, more jobs! Underpants Gnomes.

The world view of the Democrat is so twisted, that any and all things perverse are viewed as normal. It's a measure of the True Believer's commitment to diversity. Normal, honest, direct, clear, simply, too mundane. Not edgy or trendy. Democrats need to be early adopters. On the forefront. Pushing forward.
