Austin Bay asks George Clooney why the disconnect. Why is Dafur
worthy of intervention and not Iraq?
....a terrible genocide directed by the Sudanese government is occurring in Sudan's western Darfur region. George Clooney essentially wants the United States and United Nations to invade Darfur to stop the genocide.
My question is: how long will it take for this same bunch to begin their opposition to our effort after we go into Darfur? Will they condemn us for killing civilians? Will they say we're breeding more terrorists? Will they encourage our opposition by marching in the streets and demanding that the Bushitlers get out of Africa?
