20-Ounce Outlaw

New York City plans to enact a far-reaching ban on the sale of large sodas and other sugary drinks at restaurants, movie theaters and street carts, in the most ambitious effort yet by the Bloomberg administration to combat rising obesity.

And yet, half the states haven't gotten around to making psycho-zombie face eater bath salts illegal.

Personally, I don't get those monster drinks. But it's the principal: if the state needs to regulate my behavior to keep me from hurting someone else - fine. If the state wants to regulate my behavior to keep me from me, well then bite my shiny metal behind.
