(clickabiggen) Can these numbers be right?

I was down at the bread line this morning thinking... wait a minute. I've only ever stood in line at the deli, and even then, only if they had run out of panini bread on my side of the counter. Come to think of it, nobody I know is destitute. So where is this crisis I keep hearing about?

Don't get me wrong, I know that at any given time some people are out of work. And this isn't a minor thing to anyone who is part of that 6.5 % right now. But we've always had some unemployment. How is this so different that it requires a game change, ie- a bailout that dwarfs anything ever before imagined?

I smell shenanigans.
