Hopping around the www I came across the Journal of the American Medical Association, or JAMA for short. I've been to the site before but this time I finally took a close look at the domain: "jama.ama-assn.org" Wha? Jama.ama-assn.org ? Yup, Jama.ama-assn.org.
And now it's going to bug me for weeks, as I consider giving up my woodsy profession to take a job at JAMA. Then I'll have my own Jama.ama-assn.org e-mail address. The first one that came to mind was "ooby-dooby" Yeah, ooby-dooby@jama.ama-assn.org. Or maybe a Roy Orbison tribute address: ooby-dooby-ooby-dooby--ooby-dooby@Jama.ama-assn.org
But maybe I'll stick with pretend forestry. Because I know that the primo-number-one, double-plus-good e-mail address must already be taken: proctologist@jama.ama-assn.org
