Cats and Dogs Learn the Stairs




It's a difference in parenting styles, mainly.

Unlike wild dogs, wild cats chase prey into trees. So the ability to fall and land on their feet is an essential survival skill. Domesticated cats have inherited that ability and the parent's need to train their kittens in developing it to the point of usefulness. Also, they're a little sadistic.
