Mmm-mmm Good

Jonah Goldberg found Debbie, who found Paula Deen's recipe of the week:


  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 2 cans (14 1/2-ounces) English peas, drained


Melt the butter in small pot and add the peas. Cook over medium heat until peas are warm.

Which, ok, sure, it's no deep fried Snickers bar, but it's still genius cooking. Anyway, best bit: read the comments.

BTW- You would think this is the perfect recipe, but I've improved on it. Ready? Step 3: add salt. Oh yeah, now do the end-zone dance in front of the stove. Amazing that the Food Network hasn't offered me my own show, huh?
